How It All Began

Started with DEFINE

The DEFINE (DEFINE For Girls) leadership team formed to host the first DEFINE conference in January of 2017. Funded by the seed money from a Thrivent Action Team and united behind a passion to see the next generation of women equipped with the truth, DEFINE set out to address all of the "big topics" that affect a teen girls heart the most. With many on the DEFINE leadership team being recently married or engaged, much of the event's content could fall under the category of "things we wish we'd known at your age." DEFINE is attempting to "stand in the gap" and provide students with an alternative perspective to what is cultural.

DEFEND For Guys Started

While DEFINE was redefining what the culture said about sexuality, relationships, identity, and womanhood, there was a major need for young men. Thus, DEFEND was born. The first DEFEND was February 2020. DEFEND was formed to defend what God says about and to help give young men practical tactics of how to defend Godly and Biblical sexuality, relationships, identity, and manhood against the lies and deception of the world.
